I realize that Vaca Muerta is classified as a mesosiderite. However it has eucrite inclusions in it and very rarely a piece will turn up that is completely or almost completely eucrite. That is the case for these pieces and so I have listed them under the eucrite section. These Vaca Muerta eucrites are the least expensive eucrites around, less even than the NWA eucrites. The crystals are very easily seen in these pieces. However if an attempt is made to polish them the surface will turn black and any definition will be lost. Eucrites are believed to have come from the asteroid Vesta. Analysis has shown, however, that the Vaca Muerta eucrite inclusions are not consistent with other eucrites and possibly originated on a different parent body.
